Boothster was founded by John-Paull Davidson. He’s a self taught designer, business developer, marketer and project manager. Entreprenuership is his latest in a long series of adventures which have been highlighted by living in New York City, Tokyo and now Portland, which he believes is the greatest city in the United States. As the visionary behind the company, he steers the development of new products, key accounts and marketing. He’s fascinated by design, materials and thrives on the creative process of creating environments. He graduated from Oregon State University in Political Science and is relieved that he eventually chose design over a career in politics or law. Growing up his biggest inspiration was his parents who encouraged him to craft his own toys out of string, cardboard, glue and paints.
Lead Designer Dan Lococo has a broad range of design experience ranging through architecture, supermarket design, sculpture, and finish carpentry. He’s designed million dollar homes, supermarket décor packages, and, of course, green trade show exhibits. Danomite’s passion for ecological design has spanned for decades and he’s found a niche for his talents at Boothster.com where he was the lead designer and fabricator for the US Forest Delegation project, and for the product line, EcoLoco. His unique skills allow him to provide both design and fabrication expertise to projects. Dan is a graduate in Design from Arizona State University.
Business Development Manager Hayden Thompson brings a diverse skill set including online marketing, account management and business management. Having worked for companies strong in sustainable business practices such as Patagonia and New Seasons, Hayden matches his passion for design with practical experience. Hayden is a graduate in Business from University of Oregon, and has taken many classes in design.
Early in his professional career, Graphics Manager Jason Piper was on track to become a professional snowboarder, but an unfortunate series of injuries led him to take up his other passion, graphic design. A graduate of the Graphic Design program at Portland State University, Jason has a keen sense for what is contemporary, ecological and cool in graphic design. He provided the graphic concepts that were the icing on the cake for the successful US Forest Delegation project and has managed the print fabrication studio on countless projects including Unilever and HR Block. |
