DJ Danomite, AKA Dan Lococo is one of our lead designers. He is most famous for coming up with the EcoLoco eco friendly booth system, but he's also a club DJ who's rocked the house from L.A. to Portland.

He fused his musical and design talents by coming up with a cool way to brand his DJ space by utilizing some of our favorite eco friendly booth materials.

His two turntables are supported by recycled paper tubes, and salvaged wood. He's combined more recycled paper tubes and soft seat blocks to create a sign with his DJ logo. As a backdrop, he's created a simple but on point message that says lets have fun. You walk by his space and you know what the space is about immediately. Every trade show booth should achieve this recognition where people immediately engage in the desired message of a given space.

This project says something about our design process here at Boothster.com. It's no coincidence that most of our team are either dj's producers or even trumpet players. In our view there is a correlation between the process of collaging or mixing music and with designing spaces. We're almost always listening to music when we design, and we have loose processes like producing music. We incorporate time for free-forming, jamming or brainstorming in the larger context of a design/engineer/build/deliver schedule. It's loose, but the end result is always the same: An effective designed environment, delivered on time, functional, and eco friendly.
