John-Paull, Boothster Founder

Participating in the community is vital to continuing to tell our story. Eco-friendly products are important to Boothster in producing valuable, lightweight trade show displays that pack down easily for transport. Instead of typical materials like aluminum and plastic, the Eco Rolla features recycled fiber tubes, bamboo banner, and soy glue plywood. John-Paull Davidson, Boothster founder was one of the featured speakers.

We also enjoyed the words of  other environmentally conscious leaders, at the Portland AIGA Shift7 in Portland, Oregon. The ideas presented were exciting possibilities for the future.

• Mimi Pham, Graphic Design Student | Portland State University @MimiPhamPDX showed us how we might improve out attire by re-using items that may have been thrown away in the past, but could be the height of fashion.
• How A Peanut Butter Cup Can Change The World. Chad Rea | ecopop He says “Take your favorite thing, replace all the bad with good, and that’s a business opportunity.”
• Scaling impact through our clients (using interactive and social media) Roel Uleners, Senior Designer | XPLANE Dachis Group talked to us about the value social media plays in raising awareness. Roel shared with us several such projects, Intel sharing key environmental impact information, Levi’s Watertank and IHG’s Green engage. Check them out on his xblog post.
