Boothster utilizes a variety of innovative materials on custom and catalog projects, each crafted with brand identity and functional requirements in mind. Each material or product is chosen for its unique ability to serve the project, durability, price, and environmental qualities. Our green display system is 99% biodegradable and non toxic, and ideal for trade shows, meetings, events and exhibitions.
Here are a few of the sustainable materials we use:
Recycled Fiber Tubes Made with Potato Starch GlueBiodegradable and recyclable, fiber tubes are the foundation of the Boothster display system. The tubes are sourced locally and manufactured to our strict standards for durability.
Available in maple and birch, our choice plywood is made from soy-based glues and zero formaldehyde. The wood is FSC certified* and a safer alternative to traditionally manufactured plywood.
Bamboo plywood is as eco-friendly as it is beautiful. We often use blond, caramelized, or chocolate bamboo in our designs to provide an elegant, sustainable aesthetic to any booth.
Kirei and OSB
OSB with Kirei board. Kirei board is a fully biodegradable material that has a gorgeous green aesthetic. It’s lower priced cousin is OSB, a super durable patchwork of scraps of sustainably harvested woods. Both have minimal waste.
Bamboo Banner Material
This biodegradable material is R.E.A.C.H.* certified and a green alternative to wasteful vinyl banners. With our non-V.O.C. inks, bamboo banner material produces crisp, vibrant prints.
Eco resin is made from recycled plastic bottles (PET) and infused with beautiful organic materials such as leaves and flowers. Eco resin is one of our most talked about materials and always starts a buzz on the trade show floor.
Reclaimed Wood comes from torn down buildings in Portland, or from custom wood shops.
R.E.A.C.H. stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances. It is a strict European chemicals regulation that promotes the protection of humans and the environment.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certifies forestry management and products in adhereance to high standards of enviromental, economic and
